Grant Title: GFO-24-301 – Environmental Sustainability of a Clean Energy Transition (Enviro-SET)

This program supports applied research and development projects that help guide California's transition to a climate-resilient, equitable, zero-carbon energy system while achieving environmental goals.

Grant Title: Ending California’s Tobacco Epidemic in Every Community

Estimated Total Funding: $38,700,000 

This program supports up to 43 projects focused on accelerating efforts to end California's tobacco epidemic through policy, system, and environmental change strategies, with an emphasis on increasing community engagement in populations disproportionately targeted by the tobacco industry.

Grant Title: California Investment and Innovation Fund (Cal IIP) Program

Estimated Total Funding: $15,000,000 

This program offers grants to strengthen the capacity of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) to provide services such as technical assistance and access to capital in underserved communities across California.

Grant Title: Cost Share for Federal Clean Energy Funding Opportunities 

Deadline: 10/01/2024 

Agency/Department: CA Energy Commission 

Estimated Total Funding: NA 

This program provides cost-share funding to applicants who receive either an award under an eligible federal Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) and meet the solicitation requirements, or follow-on funding from the U.S. DOE to continue research from a previously awarded federal grant that also received cost-share funding from the CEC under PON-14-308, GFO-18-902, or this GFO.

Grant Title: 2024-25 Law Enforcement Specialized Units (LE) Program 

Deadline: 11/12/2024 

Agency/Department: Governor's Office of Emergency Services 

Estimated Total Funding: $1,421,994 

This program aims to establish or strengthen specialized units to deliver a coordinated first response for victims/survivors of domestic violence and their children. These units will achieve this by conducting police or sheriff investigations, offering immediate victim advocacy, providing first responder training, and developing sustainable practices and protocols that extend beyond the Grant Subaward performance period.

Grant Title: Japanese American Confinement Sites Grant Program 

Deadline: 11/14/2024 

Agency/Department: National Park Service 

Estimated Total Funding: $3,000,000 

The Japanese American Confinement Sites Grant Program offers financial support to organizations and entities dedicated to preserving historic Japanese American confinement sites and their history. Eligible recipients include nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and state, local, tribal, and other public entities, focusing on the preservation and interpretation of U.S. confinement sites where Japanese Americans were held during World War II.

Grant Title: Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP), Incarcerated Veterans’ Transition Program (IVTP), and the Homeless Women Veterans' and Homeless Veterans' with Children Reintegration Grant Program (HWVHVWC) (referred to collectively as HVRP) 

Deadline: 4/12/2025 

Agency/Department: Veterans Employment and Training Service 

Estimated Total Funding: $16,000,000 

The purpose of HVRP, a competitive federal financial assistance program focused on employment, is to help veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness achieve their full employment potential and secure high-quality career outcomes. The Department encourages applicants to propose strategies that promote economic prosperity, address historical inequities, and ensure equitable access and outcomes for marginalized groups.

Grant Title: Dove Insta Grants

The #DOVEInstaGrants Program, launched by Dove, aims to support and encourage women’s entrepreneurial ventures. This program offers three grants of $10,000 each to women business owners who submit innovative business ideas. The grant is designed to help women turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality, with additional consideration given to female-led and sustainable businesses.
