Grant Title: 2024 National School Lunch Program Equipment Assistance Grant

The intent of the grant is to provide funding for SFAs to purchase food service equipment to serve healthier meals that meet meal pattern requirements, replace outdated or worn equipment, improve procurement of goods, improve food safety, improve the lunchroom to be more appealing to the students, help support the maintenance of an existing kitchen or serving line, or establish a new school kitchen or School Nutrition Program.

The Farm & Ranch Solid Waste Clean Up & Abatement Grant program offers financial support to address the cleanup & prevention of illegal dumping on properties designated for agricultural purposes, as defined in California Code of Regulations (CCR), Section 17991(d). Each FY, there are 4 application cycles, & this is the first one. CalRecycle administers this program in accordance with Section 48100 of the Public Resources Code.

To promote safer, more sustainable pest management practices in California, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) annually funds Alliance projects that promote or increase the implementation, expansion, and/or adoption of effective, proven, and affordable integrated pest management (IPM) systems or practices that reduce risks to human health and the environment in agricultural, urban, or wildland settings.

Through this Fiscal Year 2024 Good Jobs Challenge Notice of Funding Opportunity (FY 2024 Good Jobs Challenge NOFO), EDA will support regional workforce training systems in designing and implementing activities for established sectoral partnerships that place program participants in good jobs and advance industries in the federal key technology focus areas.
Grant Title: Continuum of Care (CoC) Builds

The Initiative for Supportive Housing Development (INSiDE) NOFO targets efforts within Continuum of Care (CoC) geographic areas to address and reduce homelessness by adding new units of permanent supportive housing (PSH) through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation through one-time INSiDE awards under the CoC program. PSH is permanent housing in which supportive services are provided to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness with a disability to live independently.

The purpose of this program is to introduce and prepare justice-involved youth and young adults for the world of work and put them on a path to more equitable career opportunities, through placement into paid work experiences. In addition to paid work experiences, the program encompasses occupational education and training in in-demand industries, leadership development, a mentorship component, and placement into unsubsidized employment and/or education.

Wish Local is $2M fund given to roughly 4,000 Wish Local small business partners for financial support. The selected recipients will receive amounts between $500 - $2000. This program will only be open to Black-owned stores, to help promote equality and diversity in American business.
